Students with prior riding experience
start in our Riding Academy with a 1/2 hour Evaluation Lesson.
After the evaluation, the instructor and student discuss the student's riding
skills to determine if private lessons are needed or if group ready.
Private lessons are required of new riders until they achieve walk-trot
skills and can control the horse. Experienced students move onto groups that
are appropriate to their riding skills.
No Show and
24-Hour Cancellation Policy
The full lesson fee of $40.00* for group or $50.00* for private will be
charged for a no show or lessons cancelled with less than three hours notice.
Here's The Reason:
When a riding lesson is booked - -
• You basically buy that time slot,
• It is reserved for you and you alone,
• An instructor is hired to teach you,
• A horse has been fed, shod, vetted and tacked up to provide you with
that lesson,
• And the horse has also been taken out of rotation from other students
and is specifically assigned to you.
A lot of time and expense are
expended to provide riding lessons. We hope you will understand that this
policy helps us manage our daily lessons more efficiently.
