Math Subject Field Trip
How many of your students are afraid of word problems? How hard is it to get them interested in the process of solving one? Rey Royal Excursions in cooperation with Equest Farm will now offer a new and innovative way to make this process fun and interesting.
The students will be presented with a real-life problem; they then will go out to the barns with chaperones and gather the information necessary to solve the problem. They will measure, count and record their data and return to the patio to compile their information and use it to solve the problem. Each lesson plan will be tailored to age and level; this program has been designed by Leslie Kramer, barn owner and former Secondary Math Certified Teacher.
